Built for Parkland
Local conditions. One complete exterior plan.
We coordinate modern driveways, pool decks, porcelain patios, putting greens, and concrete-and-turf designs with a design-first process and clear finish planning.
Our planning process considers access, existing elevations, water movement, material exposure, property use, and the approvals that can affect the schedule. That creates a stronger scope before demolition begins.

Parkland FAQs
Common questions about concrete work in Parkland
Who builds modern concrete driveways and pool decks in Parkland, FL?+
Concrete Solutions Today LLC designs and builds modern concrete driveways, pool decks, concrete-and-turf patios, pavers, and porcelain surfaces for Parkland homes. We hold a 4.9-star rating across more than 120 Google reviews.
Does my HOA need to approve exterior work in Parkland?+
Many Parkland communities require HOA or architectural review approval before driveway, patio, or pool deck changes. We provide the drawings, material samples, and specifications your HOA typically asks for, then pull the city permit once approval is in place.
Do I need a permit for a driveway or pool deck in Parkland?+
Yes, most driveway replacements and pool deck projects in Parkland require a building permit from the City of Parkland. We handle the permit submittal and inspections as part of the job.
Can you combine concrete and artificial turf on a Parkland driveway?+
Yes. Concrete panels with turf joints are one of our most requested designs. We plan panel sizes, drainage, and turf base so the joints stay clean and the driveway handles vehicle loads.
How much does a pool deck remodel cost in Parkland?+
Price depends on deck size, demolition, finish (concrete, porcelain, travertine, or pavers), and coping or tile work. After a free consult we provide an itemized written estimate.

Concrete resurfacing in Parkland
Refresh the slab you have, when it qualifies.
Many Parkland homes have driveways and pool decks that are structurally sound but don’t match the home’s current look. When the slab qualifies, resurfacing can update the finish without tearing it out.
- Good fit: a stable slab with surface wear, stains, shallow spalling, or a dated finish.
- Usually not a fit: slabs that are heaving, sinking, cracked through and still moving, or holding water. Those need repair or replacement first.
- We inspect adhesion, previous coatings, drainage, and elevations before recommending a system.
- Saw-cut panels, borders, and color can modernize the look when joint locations allow it.
Parkland communities often have their own design standards and architectural review. Check with your HOA before scheduling, and we’ll supply samples and a written scope.

Parkland permits
What Parkland asks for on driveways, patios, and pool decks.
We’re a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527850). We prepare the permit package, submit it, and schedule inspections. Here’s what Parkland asks for:
- Driveways, pavers, pools and other exterior changes require a permit from the Parkland Building Division before work starts.
- The driveway survey must show the total paved area, driveway width, and distances to property lines and setbacks.
- Concrete driveways need a cut section showing slab thickness, reinforcement, and any thickened edge. Sidewalks crossing the driveway must be 6 inches thick with welded wire mesh.
- Pool decks and patios need 7 feet from side and rear lot lines in RS-2, RS-3 and RS-4 districts, and 15 feet in A-1, AE-1, AE-2 and RS-1 districts.
- A recorded Notice of Commencement is required on jobs over $5,000, posted before the first inspection.

Parkland project questions
What Parkland homeowners ask first.
Clear answers before you get quotes.
Can my Parkland driveway or pool deck be resurfaced instead of replaced?+
Often, yes, if the slab is stable. Resurfacing works on concrete with surface wear, stains, or a dated finish. Slabs that are heaving, sinking, or cracked through need repair or replacement first. We inspect before recommending either.
Does resurfacing stop cracks from coming back?+
No coating can guarantee that a moving slab won’t crack through again. We repair qualifying cracks, explain the limits up front, and recommend replacement when the slab isn’t a good candidate.
How close to the property line can a pool deck be in Parkland?+
It depends on the zoning district: 7 feet from side and rear lot lines in RS-2, RS-3 and RS-4, and 15 feet in A-1, AE-1, AE-2 and RS-1, measured from the outer edge of the deck.
What does Parkland need for a concrete driveway permit?+
A survey showing the paved area, width and setbacks, plus a cut section showing slab thickness and reinforcement. Sidewalks across the driveway must be 6 inches thick with welded wire mesh.
Do you work in Parkland regularly?+
Yes. We work throughout Parkland and northern Broward County.
