Built for Boca Raton

Local conditions. One complete exterior plan.

We plan refined concrete, porcelain, natural stone, pool decks, and turf installations for golf, waterfront, and estate properties with close attention to samples, alignment, and detailing.

Our planning process considers access, existing elevations, water movement, material exposure, property use, and the approvals that can affect the schedule. That creates a stronger scope before demolition begins.

Concrete resurfacing in Boca Raton

Refresh the slab you have, when it qualifies.

Many Boca Raton driveways, patios, and pool decks are structurally sound but look dated. When the existing concrete qualifies, an architectural resurfacing system can change the color, texture, and pattern without full demolition.

  • Good fit: a stable slab with surface wear, stains, shallow spalling, or a dated finish.
  • Usually not a fit: slabs that are heaving, sinking, cracked through and still moving, or holding water. Those need repair or replacement first.
  • We inspect adhesion, previous coatings, drainage, and elevations before recommending a system.
  • Saw-cut panels, borders, and color can modernize the look when joint locations allow it.

Many Boca Raton communities require architectural review approval before exterior finishes change, even when the footprint stays the same. Check with your HOA or club before scheduling, and we can supply finish samples and a scope for the submittal.

Boca Raton permits

What Boca Raton asks for on patios, pool decks, and driveways.

We’re a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527850). We prepare the permit package, submit it, and schedule inspections. Here’s what the city’s checklists call for:

  • Decks and patios are submitted on a Building Application with a submittal form and an authorized agent form.
  • The package includes the contract, plans, drawings, and a survey or site plan.
  • The city collects an initial deposit of 1% of the contract value (minimum $100) when you apply. The balance is due at issuance.
  • A certified Notice of Commencement is required on building permits valued over $5,000.
  • Driveways follow a separate engineering application with a notarized Driveway Design Standards Affidavit. See Boca Raton driveway requirements.

Sources: City of Boca Raton Deck/Patio Permit Submittal Checklist and Driveway Design Standards Affidavit. Requirements change, so we confirm the current checklist with the city before every submittal.

Boca Raton project questions

What Boca Raton homeowners ask first.

Clear answers before you get quotes.

Can my Boca Raton driveway or pool deck be resurfaced instead of replaced?+

Often, yes, if the slab is stable. Resurfacing works on concrete with surface wear, stains, or a dated finish. Slabs that are heaving, sinking, or cracked through need repair or replacement first. We inspect before recommending either.

Does resurfacing stop cracks from coming back?+

No coating can guarantee that a moving slab won’t crack through again. We repair qualifying cracks, explain the limits up front, and recommend replacement when the slab isn’t a good candidate.

Do I need a permit for a new patio or pool deck in Boca Raton?+

New decks and patios are permitted on a Building Application with a contract, plans, and a survey or site plan. A certified Notice of Commencement is required on building permits over $5,000. We prepare and submit the package.

Do I need HOA approval in Boca Raton?+

Many Boca Raton communities require architectural review approval before exterior finish changes. We provide samples, drawings, and a written scope for your HOA submittal.

Do you serve Boca Raton from Broward?+

Yes. We’re based in Southwest Ranches and regularly work across Broward and southern Palm Beach County, including Boca Raton.
