Broward County paver contractor

Pavers in Parkland.

Parkland homeowners often want pavers or natural stone that match a newer home and an HOA’s approved palette. We design the layout, prepare the City’s paver checklist, and build the base for the long run.

Built for Parkland

Stone and pavers that fit newer homes.

Parkland’s newer communities favor large-format pavers, travertine and clean borders that tie the driveway to the entry and pool. We plan the materials together so the front and back of the house read as one design.

Most Parkland neighborhoods have an HOA with its own review. We prepare samples and drawings for the association, then submit the City permit with a survey that shows exactly where the pavers go.

Parkland paver permits

What Parkland asks for.

We’re a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527850). We prepare the permit package, submit it, and schedule every inspection. Here’s what the city looks for:

  • Parkland uses one Driveway/Pavers/Concrete Slab Checklist, and pavers are on the City’s list of work that needs a permit.
  • The survey must show the pavers, the total paved area, the driveway width and distances to setbacks.
  • The survey should be no more than a year old, or be paired with a Homeowner Survey Affidavit.
  • Where the drive crosses a sidewalk, the sidewalk is built 6 inches thick with welded wire mesh.
  • A recorded Notice of Commencement is required over $5,000 and must be posted before the first inspection.
  • Since July 1, 2026, state law exempts some single-family work under $7,500 from permits, but not structural work, pool barriers, electrical or plumbing work, or properties in a flood hazard area. Work in the city right-of-way, such as a driveway apron, still needs its own right-of-way permit.

How a Parkland paver job gets built

Four steps from layout to sealed joints.

The base work in step three decides how the pavers look in ten years, so we never rush it.

01

Design + measure

We measure the site, check your survey and setbacks, and lay out pattern, borders and drainage with samples on your Parkland property.

02

Permit + approvals

We prepare the Parkland permit package and any HOA submittal, and schedule the work once approved.

03

Excavate + base

We remove the old surface, excavate, then place and compact the base in lifts before screeding the bedding sand.

04

Lay, compact + seal

We lay and cut the pavers, set the edge restraint, sand and compact the joints, pass final inspection and seal when ready.

Parkland paver questions

What Parkland homeowners ask first.

Clear answers before you get quotes.

Do I need a permit for pavers in Parkland?+

Yes. Parkland lists pavers among the work that needs a permit, and the Driveway/Pavers/Concrete Slab Checklist asks for a survey showing the pavers, total paved area and setbacks.

My survey is a few years old. Can I still use it?+

Parkland wants a survey no more than a year old, or a Homeowner Survey Affidavit confirming nothing has changed. If anything has been added since, we’ll recommend an updated survey.

Can you match the pavers on my driveway to my pool deck?+

Yes. We often use the same travertine or paver family front and back, with a different size or border at the pool so the deck stays comfortable underfoot.

How long does a Parkland paver project take?+

Most driveways take about a week on site once permitted, and pool decks a little longer. HOA review and the City permit usually take more time than the installation.
