Serving Broward County

One project, from the slab to the shade.

Concrete Solutions Today designs and builds pergolas and outdoor living areas for homes in Davie, Weston, Southwest Ranches, Cooper City, Plantation, Pembroke Pines, Parkland, Coral Springs, and Fort Lauderdale. Because we also pour the concrete, set the pavers, and install the turf, the footings, slab, drainage, and structure are planned together instead of by three different contractors. Most pergolas in Broward County need a permit and must be engineered for local wind loads, so we handle drawings, permitting, and inspections as part of the scope.

Project questions

What homeowners ask before we start.

Clear expectations produce better scopes, better decisions, and a smoother build.

Do I need a permit for a pergola in Broward County?+

In most Broward cities, yes. Attached and freestanding pergolas generally require a permit and must meet Florida Building Code wind requirements. We prepare the drawings and manage the permit for you.

What is an insulated-roof pergola?+

It’s a pergola with a solid insulated panel roof instead of open slats, so it blocks sun and rain and keeps the space noticeably cooler. It’s a popular choice next to pools and outdoor kitchens.

Can you build the patio and the pergola together?+

Yes, and that’s our recommendation. Pouring the slab or installing pavers with the pergola footings in mind avoids cutting and patching later.

How long does a pergola project take?+

The build itself is usually a matter of days to a few weeks, depending on size and finishes. Permitting time depends on the city, and we give you a schedule with the written proposal.

Which cities do you build pergolas in?+

We build pergolas across Broward County, including Davie, Weston, Southwest Ranches, Cooper City, Plantation, Pembroke Pines, Parkland, Coral Springs, and Fort Lauderdale.
