Built for Weston
Local conditions. One complete exterior plan.
Our approach emphasizes modern joint layouts, coordinated samples, precise transitions, and a polished jobsite for driveway, patio, pool deck, porcelain, and turf projects.
Our planning process considers access, existing elevations, water movement, material exposure, property use, and the approvals that can affect the schedule. That creates a stronger scope before demolition begins.

Compare finishes at property scale.
A small sample does not show the full effect of concrete panels, porcelain formats, paver patterns, turf transitions, or pool coping. We help evaluate the material against the architecture, sunlight, traffic, drainage, care requirements, and nearby finishes.

Concrete resurfacing in Weston
Refresh the slab you have, when it qualifies.
Weston’s planned communities have many original driveways, walkways, and pool decks that are structurally sound but dated. When the slab qualifies, resurfacing can bring the finish in line with current HOA design standards without full demolition.
- Good fit: a stable slab with surface wear, stains, shallow spalling, or a dated finish.
- Usually not a fit: slabs that are heaving, sinking, cracked through and still moving, or holding water. Those need repair or replacement first.
- We inspect adhesion, previous coatings, drainage, and elevations before recommending a system.
- Saw-cut panels, borders, and color can modernize the look when joint locations allow it.
Most Weston communities require HOA architectural approval before exterior finishes change. That’s a separate step from the city permit, and we provide samples and a written scope for the submittal.

Weston permits
What Weston asks for on driveways, patios, and pool decks.
We’re a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527850). We prepare the permit package, submit it, and schedule inspections. Here’s what Weston asks for:
- Driveways, walks, patios and pool decks are on Weston’s Quick Permit list, with a 3–5 business day review when the submittal is complete. Pool resurfacing is on the list too.
- The submittal includes a current survey and a Lot Calculation Sheet listing all existing and proposed impervious areas.
- Contractors must be registered with the City, with current insurance and licensing on file.
- A recorded Notice of Commencement is required on projects of $5,000 or more, before the first inspection.
- Since July 1, 2026, state law exempts some single-family work under $7,500 from permits, but not structural work, pool barriers, electrical, plumbing, or properties in a flood hazard area.
More detail: Weston driveway requirements, Weston pool deck requirements, Weston paver requirements and Weston turf rules.

Weston project questions
What Weston homeowners ask first.
Clear answers before you get quotes.
Can my Weston driveway or pool deck be resurfaced instead of replaced?+
Often, yes, if the slab is stable. Resurfacing works on concrete with surface wear, stains, or a dated finish. Slabs that are heaving, sinking, or cracked through need repair or replacement first. We inspect before recommending either.
Does resurfacing stop cracks from coming back?+
No coating can guarantee that a moving slab won’t crack through again. We repair qualifying cracks, explain the limits up front, and recommend replacement when the slab isn’t a good candidate.
How long does a driveway or pool deck permit take in Weston?+
Driveways, walks, patios and pool decks qualify for Weston’s Quick Permit track, with a 3–5 business day review when the submittal is complete.
Do I need HOA approval in Weston?+
In most communities, yes. HOA architectural approval is separate from the city permit. We prepare samples and drawings for the submittal.
Do you work in Weston regularly?+
Yes. We’re based next door in Southwest Ranches and work throughout Weston.
