Design + measure
We measure the area, note trees, drains and easements on your survey, and choose turf and infill with you on your Weston property.
Broward County artificial turf installer
Weston’s turf code requires a Florida-licensed general contractor to do the installation, and a building permit for every use. We’re a Certified General Contractor and handle the permit, the HOA, and the install.

Built for Weston
Weston’s code sets a high bar for the turf product itself: pile height, face weight, permeable backing, an eight-year no-fade warranty, and U.S. manufacture. We bring samples that meet those specs, so your HOA and the City are reviewing a product that already qualifies.
Most Weston communities also review turf through their HOA. Turf strips inside a driveway or front walkway design, like the 8 by 16 foot rectangles in the Weston driveway shown here, are a common way to get the look homeowners want with an HOA-friendly layout.

Weston turf rules
We’re a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527850). We check the rules for your lot, prepare any permit, and schedule inspections. Here’s what applies:
Sources: City of Weston Code Sec. 124.37.3, Synthetic Turf; Florida Rule 62-308.100; Section 125.572, Florida Statutes; Florida DEP Synthetic Turf FAQ. Turf rules changed in 2026 and cities are still updating their codes, so we confirm the current requirements with the city before every job. This is general information, not legal advice.
Artificial turf options in Weston
Turf fails from the bottom up. Every install gets a porous rock base, proper slope, anchored edges and seams you can’t see.
No-mow turf lawns on a drained rock base, with clean edges at beds and walkways.
Concrete panels with turf strips, each joint built on its own drained base.
Turf lines and lawn areas planned with the deck so the pool area drains.
Shaped putting surfaces with fringe turf, next to the pool or patio.
Turf with a pet-friendly infill and a base that rinses clean.
Stone or paver slabs set with turf joints for a softer modern look.
How a Weston turf job gets built
The base in step three decides whether the turf drains after a summer storm, so we don’t rush it.
We measure the area, note trees, drains and easements on your survey, and choose turf and infill with you on your Weston property.
We prepare the Weston turf or landscaping permit and any HOA submittal, and schedule the install once approved.
We remove sod and roots, cap sprinkler heads in turf areas, set edging, and compact a washed, porous rock base without sealing the soil below.
We roll out and seam the turf, anchor every edge, brush in the infill, and walk the finished area with you.

Weston turf questions
Clear answers before you get quotes.
Weston’s code requires installation by a Florida-licensed general contractor. We hold State of Florida CGC license CGC1527850, so we can pull the permit and do the work.
The City code limits turf to rear and side yards, plus strips up to 4 inches wide within a concrete or paver driveway or front walkway design. For single-family lots of 1 acre or less, state law now limits how the City can restrict turf that meets state standards. We confirm what applies to your lot and your HOA before design.
Weston’s code asks for at least 6 feet from a tree or palm, and the state standards keep turf outside tree drip lines unless a certified arborist approves. We map trees on the plan first.
A landscape plan showing the turf and living plant areas, the turf brand and specs, a scaled cross section of the base, and a current survey with an affidavit. We prepare all of it.
