Built for Weston

A driveway planned for your lot and your street.

Most Weston homes sit inside an HOA, and architectural review committees often control driveway materials, width, extensions, and whether stamped or "paver-look" concrete is allowed. We prepare the drawings, material details, and survey markups you need for that approval.

Weston also tracks impervious coverage on every lot. Driveway expansions are planned with a lot coverage calculation from the start, so the design you approve is the design the city will permit.

Weston driveway permits

What the Weston permit asks for.

We’re a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527850). We prepare the permit package, submit it, and schedule every inspection. Here’s what the city looks for:

  • Concrete driveways require a building permit from the City of Weston.
  • The application includes a current survey showing the proposed driveway and a Lot Calculation Sheet listing all existing and proposed impervious areas.
  • Contractors must be registered with the City with current insurance and licensing on file.
  • Driveways, walks, patios and pool decks qualify for Weston’s Quick Permit track, with a 3–5 business day review when the submittal is complete.
  • Most communities also require HOA architectural approval, which is a separate step from the city permit.

How a Weston driveway gets built

Four steps from design to final inspection.

Each step settles the decisions the next one depends on, so the jobsite stays organized.

01

Design + measure

We measure the site, check your survey and setbacks, and lay out panels, joints, and the approach.

02

Permit + approvals

We prepare the Weston permit package and any HOA submittal, then schedule the work once approved.

03

Prepare + pour

Demolition, grading, compaction, forming, and reinforcement, then a coordinated pour and finish.

04

Inspect + complete

We pass final inspection, review edges and drainage with you, and leave care instructions.

Weston driveway questions

What Weston homeowners ask first.

Clear answers before you get quotes.

Do I need HOA approval for a new driveway in Weston?+

In most Weston communities, yes. HOA architectural approval and the City of Weston permit are separate steps. We prepare the drawings and material information for your HOA first, then submit the city permit.

Does Weston require a permit for a concrete driveway?+

Yes. The City of Weston requires a building permit for concrete driveways, with a survey and a lot coverage calculation. Complete driveway submittals can qualify for the Quick Permit review track.

Can I widen my existing driveway in Weston?+

Often, yes, but expansions must fit your lot’s impervious coverage limits and your HOA’s rules on width and materials. We run the lot coverage numbers before we finalize the design.

Can you build large driveways and motor courts?+

Yes. We recently completed a 7,600+ sq ft concrete and turf driveway in Weston. Large pours are planned around ready-mix scheduling, joint layout, and drainage so the finish stays consistent.
