Built for Boca Raton

A pool deck planned for your yard and your pool.

Boca Raton’s country club and gated communities usually expect premium finishes: travertine, porcelain, large-format concrete, and clean turf joints. We present the layout and materials for HOA review alongside the City submittal.

Pool decks in Boca Raton go on a building application with the contract, plans, and a survey or site plan. A complete package from a registered contractor keeps the review moving.

Boca Raton pool deck permits

What the Boca Raton permit asks for.

We’re a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527850). We prepare the permit package, submit it, and schedule every inspection. Here’s what the city looks for:

  • All contractors must be registered with the City and up to date to pull permits.
  • Deck and patio permits require a submittal form, building application, the contract, plans, a survey or site plan, and drawings.
  • An initial deposit of 1% of the contract value is due at submittal, with a $100 minimum, and the balance is due when the permit is issued.
  • A certified Notice of Commencement is required on building permits valued over $5,000.
  • New pools also need a Swimming Pool Safety Act form, sealed plans, and a form board survey before the slab is poured.

How a Boca Raton pool deck gets built

Four steps from design to final inspection.

Each step settles the decisions the next one depends on, so the pool stays protected and the jobsite stays organized.

01

Design + measure

We measure the pool and yard, check your survey and setbacks, and plan the layout, elevations, coping, and drainage.

02

Permit + approvals

We prepare the Boca Raton permit package and any HOA submittal, then schedule the work once approved.

03

Remove + build

Careful demolition around the coping and shell, then base, reinforcement, and the new deck surface.

04

Inspect + complete

We pass final inspection, check slope and edges with you, and leave care and sealing instructions.

Boca Raton pool deck questions

What Boca Raton homeowners ask first.

Clear answers before you get quotes.

What does Boca Raton require for a pool deck permit?+

The City’s deck and patio checklist calls for a building application, the contract, plans, a survey or site plan, and drawings, submitted by a registered contractor. We prepare and submit the package.

How much is due when the permit is submitted?+

Boca Raton collects 1% of the contract value up front, with a $100 minimum, and the balance when the permit is issued.

Can you match travertine or porcelain used elsewhere on the property?+

Yes. We source travertine and porcelain to match existing borders, steps, or driveways, and plan the joints and coping edge so the deck looks original to the home.

Do you serve Boca Raton from Broward?+

Yes. We’re based in Southwest Ranches and regularly work across Broward and southern Palm Beach County, including Boca Raton.
