Built for Coral Springs

A driveway planned for your lot and your street.

Coral Springs neighborhoods range from 1970s and 1980s homes with original slabs to updated golf and waterfront properties. Some older driveways can be resurfaced; others need full replacement because of settling, root damage, or a dated layout. We tell you which one makes sense after the site visit.

The driveway approach in the swale is in the city right-of-way, so its design must meet the city engineer’s standards. We build the approach and the private driveway as one planned system.

Coral Springs driveway permits

What the Coral Springs permit asks for.

We’re a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527850). We prepare the permit package, submit it, and schedule every inspection. Here’s what the city looks for:

  • Work in the public right-of-way, including the driveway approach or apron, requires a permit from the city engineer.
  • Driveway cuts, approaches, and aprons must follow standards set or approved by the city engineer.
  • Driveways must be at least 5 feet from any side plot line under the city’s Land Development Code.
  • Parking areas and driveways must be surfaced with brick, asphalt, or concrete.
  • Permits are submitted through the city’s eTRAKiT system, and the Building Department’s resident checklist covers driveways and swales.

How a Coral Springs driveway gets built

Four steps from design to final inspection.

Each step settles the decisions the next one depends on, so the jobsite stays organized.

01

Design + measure

We measure the site, check your survey and setbacks, and lay out panels, joints, and the approach.

02

Permit + approvals

We prepare the Coral Springs permit package and any HOA submittal, then schedule the work once approved.

03

Prepare + pour

Demolition, grading, compaction, forming, and reinforcement, then a coordinated pour and finish.

04

Inspect + complete

We pass final inspection, review edges and drainage with you, and leave care instructions.

Coral Springs driveway questions

What Coral Springs homeowners ask first.

Clear answers before you get quotes.

Can my old Coral Springs driveway be resurfaced instead of replaced?+

Sometimes. If the slab is structurally sound and not settling, resurfacing can give it a modern look for less. If it’s cracked through, sinking, or lifted by roots, replacement is the better investment.

Do I need a city permit for the driveway apron?+

Yes. The apron and approach sit in the public right-of-way, and Coral Springs requires a permit from the city engineer for work there. We handle that along with the driveway permit.

How close can my driveway be to the side property line?+

Coral Springs requires driveways to be at least 5 feet from a side plot line in most cases. We check this on your survey before finalizing the design.

Do you install pavers in Coral Springs too?+

Yes. We install concrete, pavers, porcelain, and natural stone driveways, and can combine concrete panels with turf joints or paver borders.
