We’re a State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527850). We prepare the permit package, submit it, and schedule every inspection. Here’s what the city looks for:
- Driveway width cannot exceed 20% of the total property frontage, or 35 feet.
- Plans must include drainage cross-sections of the new driveway through the swale, and the swale must be at least 3 inches deep.
- A signed and sealed survey and a site plan showing the work, dimensions, and setbacks are required.
- Reviews go through Planning & Zoning, Structural, and Engineering.
- Work inside drainage easements needs approval from the drainage district, and a Notice of Commencement is required on jobs over $5,000.
